Trusting God When Doors Close

Closed Does Not Always Mean Wrong

In Acts, Paul is repeatedly redirected — plans stopped, routes changed, opportunities blocked. Yet each closure led him exactly where he needed to go.

Closed doors are not always punishment. Sometimes they are protection from timing you cannot see.

God Redirects Without Explaining Everything

One of the hardest parts is not the closure itself — it is the silence around it. No explanation. No warning. Just change.

But God often guides more through direction than explanation.

What to Do When a Door Closes

  • Don’t assume rejection is identity
  • Don’t force what God has removed access from
  • Stay faithful where you are still standing

A Better Door Ahead

Revelation ends with a powerful image: doors that no one can shut when God opens them.

If one door closed, it is not the last one in your life.

Prayer

Lord, help me trust Your timing even when I do not understand Your no. Keep me from forcing what You are closing. Amen.
